Enuresis (Bed Wetting)
Enuresis (bedwetting) can be a very distressing condition for both sufferers and
their loved ones. Once a child reaches around four or five they should be
ready to stay dry the whole night long and many researchers consider
bed-wetting normal until the age of six. Bedwetting not only results in a
wet bed – but children are embarrassed by their condition and tend to
withdraw from social activities that require sleeping away from their home.
They may also often suffer from low self-image.
Often a doctor may prescribe drugs to improve the child’s sleeping pattern or
produce less urine. However, children often wet the bed again after the drug
is discontinued, and they may have some nasty side effects.
Another method is to reduce fluid intake before bedtime, however this avoids the
underlying problem and reduces the bladder capacity.
Fortunately, hypnotherapy can offer a drug free solution, provided the patient is well
motivated. It is often more effective and certainly is safer than medical
treatment, and the improvement usually continues indefinitely.
Through repeated listening to this download, the brain is re-programmed so that the
child will be able to awaken and go to the bathroom when his or her bladder
feels full, the same way he or she does while awake. It will also help the
child to learn to stop bed wetting by controlling the muscles that stop
urine leaving the bladder.
So download this fabulous recording now – and you may be surprised at how
many dry nights you have!
